Return and Refund Policy

Customer Responsibility for Returns

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the cost of return postage. There are no hidden fees, restocking charges, or deductions from your refund for returnable items.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

15-Day Return Window

You have 15 days from the delivery date to initiate a return or exchange for eligible items.

How to Start a Return

To begin a return:

  1. Contact us at contact@dogs-and-cats.co within 15 days of receiving your order
  2. Provide your order number, proof of purchase, and photos if the item is damaged or faulty
  3. Once approved, return instructions and the return address will be provided

For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, no return is necessary — we will send a replacement directly at no cost to you. For all other eligible returns, return postage is at the customer's cost.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a full refund:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition
  • Original packaging and all tags must be included
  • Items that show signs of use, wear, or have been tried on a pet are considered used and cannot be returned

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrived damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at contact@dogs-and-cats.co. Damaged or faulty items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos showing the issue. No return of the original item is required — we will arrange a replacement shipment at no cost to you, in line with applicable US consumer protection law.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Items tried on or used on a pet — for hygiene and sanitary reasons, any item that has been worn or used by an animal cannot be returned or exchanged unless it arrived faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
  • Sizing issues — we strongly recommend checking the size chart on each product page before purchasing. Our support team is available to assist with sizing. Returns are not accepted for sizing issues on items that have been tried on.
  • Sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

Refund Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll confirm via email and issue a full refund within 7 business days to your original payment method.

Please note: your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

Lost Package Policy

If your package has not been delivered, please contact us at contact@dogs-and-cats.co no later than 20 days after your order date. We will open an investigation with the carrier. If the package cannot be located within 10 business days, a full refund or reshipment will be offered. 

Orders that are not delivered within 30 days from the order date, based on the available tracking information, will be eligible for a full refund, regardless of whether the package is ultimately delivered after that period. Refund eligibility applies only if the customer submits a refund request 30 days or more after the order date while the package status still shows as in transit at the time of the request. In such cases, the full refund will be issued without requiring the customer to return the package if it is subsequently delivered.

Claims submitted after 45 days from the order date cannot be accepted.

Please note that no refund will be issued if the delivery failure is due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the package was not collected from the post office in time, or the customer did not monitor tracking information.

Delivered but Not Received

If tracking shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package, please first check with your neighbors or building management, contact your local post office, and request proof of delivery. If the package still cannot be located, contact us with supporting documentation. Depending on the situation, we may offer store credit or reshipment. Refunds are not issued for orders marked as delivered by the carrier.

Exchanges

Exchanges are available for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items. Contact us at contact@dogs-and-cats.co with photos and your order number. Instructions will be provided after approval.
